The Campus Life
We have excellent and exuberant Campus life. Students have opportunities to step into a wonderful experience of encountering God in different ways, to meet people from different ethnic background with a like minded faith. Students would be meticulously equipped for the calling God has for them and to accomplish the visions and the dreams that they have for the Lord. Students’ care groups fellowship, chapel services, class participation, games and sports, ministry activities, meals and recreational programmes provide the ideal opportunity for close interaction and fellowship.
Hostels for Men and Women: Hostel buildings are beautifully built in the campus for both male and female students with sixty beds capacity in each hostel. The hostel room facilities such as bed, mattress, and shelf are provided to all the students. Students would truly enjoy and cherish the hostel life as they get opportunity to live together with new friends.
Dining Hall: We have a beautiful dining hall which provides wonderful atmosphere for a time of fellowship during meals. Complete three times food and three times tea are served for students in a day. Meals are planned for optimum nutrition with careful attention given to preparation and serving.
Playground: We have playgrounds for outdoor games and space for some indoor games. Students are encouraged to play various games and sports to keep themselves fit physically and to enhance better relationships among them.
Library: ANTS has a good Library with a collection of about 12,000 title books on various theological subjects. The library also has a good number of periodicals that contain a range of articles on different subjects. Our priority is to develop library in every possible means to provide the best possible academic resources and study environment to the students, faculty and staff that is necessary for their academic training. We have well trained and dedicated librarians to administer library and to assist students to find right resources for their learning. Students enrolled in ANTS will truly enjoy the library facilities.
Chapel Hall: We have beautiful chapel building with 300 seating capacity. The chapel hall is well-equipped with good sound system, various musical instruments, and the latest projector for projecting worship songs and sermons in the time of worship. The chapel hall with its well-furnished setting, lively worship, powerful sermons and other relevant spiritual activities enables individuals to encounter God personally and to grow spiritually.
Spiritual Formation
We consider spiritual formation of each student as vital in the process of their training. In order to enhance and develop the spiritual growth of students we facilitate personal and community devotion, personal meditation, fasting prayer, Chapel services, and so on. The Seminary expects to see a gradual spiritual growth in each student in the course of their training at ANTS and even thereafter as they engage in the ministry.
Devotional Life: Devotional training is one of the most important phases of ANTS, therefore the Seminary maintains a regular time for entire community devotion from 6:00 – 6:40 a.m. Similarly, students are required to maintain evening devotion from 9:40 – 10:00 pm in their respective rooms.
Chapel Services: ANTS recognizes the importance of spiritual growth of both staff and students for the attainment of maturity in Christian life. Therefore, students and staff are encouraged to attend all the chapel services held on weekdays from 10:20 to 11:00 a.m. except on Wednesdays. These services provide spiritual uplift for all community members. Each service is devoted to singing, prayers, and sermons. Each semester, outstanding evangelists, pastors, and missionaries from different places are brought to the campus for the purpose of ministering to the Seminary community. Ample opportunities are also given to the staff and students to develop their ministerial skills through leading and preaching in the chapel services.
Vesper Service: The separate vesper services for men and for women are held on Mondays and Tuesdays from 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. under the supervision of wardens and the students’ in-charge.
Sunday Services: ANTS recognizes Sundays as a special day for worship. The Seminary conducts worship service in campus in the evening from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. for the entire ANTS community and students are expected to attend this service in addition to their various weekend ministry allocations during the day.
Fasting Service: Community fasting and prayer services are held on the 1st Day of every month. On this day both students and staff are to abstain from breakfast and lunch for spending the quality time in prayer and meditation.
Care Groups: The students are divided into various care groups, each with a member of faculty or a staff in-charge. This group meets weekly on Wednesdays from 10:20 – 11:00 a.m. for fellowship, sharing, encouragement and edification within the care group members.
